Hello! My name is Perebotie Amughan, I'm a first generation Nigerian American. I was 4 years old when my family and I moved to the United States. Through their sacrifices my parents have made a comfortable life for my two sisters and I.

 

I created this blog because at one point I believed I had everything, that I somehow escaped the challenges of being a black woman in America.This isn't the case though, I created a blog to call attention and uplift the voices of black women. The complexity of dating as a black and overall being a woman of color is a perspective I'm very excited to share. Enjoy!
